| A scorching day brought a win of the toss for Tewkesbury and the unsurprising decision to bat. After the early loss of Si Vincent the score ticked along nicely, the skipper getting 47 and with a late flourish from Tubs Allcoat, 25 before being run out mindlessly by pie thrower Bowers, the score reached 178-8 in 45 overs. Whilst wickets fell at a steady rate in the Kingsholm reply so the runs mounted and they reached the required total with 5 wickets and nearly 7 overs to spare. |
